Frequently asked questions
Do I have to live in Zimbabwe to register a company?
No, you can register a Zimbabwean Company from anywhere in the world. The only requirements are that you have at least one director who is ordinarily a resident of Zimbabwe and one shareholder (the same person can assume both positions) and your company has a registered office address in Zimbabwe (included in the Non-Residents Package).
Do I need a Zimbabwean director to register a company?
The Zimbabwean law requires that you have at least 2 company directors, at least one being ordinarily a resident of Zimbabwe.
What are the responsibilities of the Zimbabwean director?
The Zimbabwean director is a proxy director meant to fulfil the company registration requirements. However, if you need them to perform other duties it will be US$15 per function.
Do I have to use these packages only to register my company?
No. You can incorporate a limited company using any of our packages; however, this one is specifically designed for non-Zimbabwean residents and represents the best value for money.
Who is meant for the non-resident packages?
The non-resident packages were designed for foreigners or Zimbabweans who are abroad who want to register their company in Zimbabwe but they do not have a Zimbabwean company address or a director who is ordinarily a Zimbabwean resident.
Will my company mail be forwarded internationally?
All mail will be forwarded to you, regardless of where in the world you are located. All mail is covered by one of the three address services included in this package.
Do I have to file my company changes with Companies Registry?
If any changes to the company occur, you can contact us so we help you file the changes with the registry.
